Understanding Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)
Paintless dent repair, otherwise referred to as PDR, is the repair method that has vastly improved the quality of repair of hail damage, door dings and other superficial damage on your vehicle. This method of repair uses highly skilled repair technicians using literally hundreds of precision crafted tools and custom lighting to repair damage from underneath the panels rather than the traditional grind, fill, sand and repaint methods of the past. Long gone are the days of damaging the factory applied exterior paint finish on your automobile. Using these techniques the repair process is extremely tedious, moving the metal damage ever so slightly to reverse the impact that the hail has created. Besides keeping your factory paint intact, PDR also is 100 percent environmentally friendly. All of these benefits have led PDR to be the industry standard repair for any and all damage that falls within the threshold of repairability.
Here at Dent Touch all of our repair technicians are individually vetted and trained to make sure that each repair is done correctly the first time. Quality PDR technicians have to work under an apprenticeship and usually require a minimum of 8 to 10 years in order to be of Caliber to work with our team, Just like a doctor or lawyer or professor many years of training must be performed before this caliber of excellence is achieved. All work is double and triple checked to make sure that the quality standards we set here at Dent Touch are delivered on every customer vehicle. We appreciate all of our customers and want to make the repair process as easy as possible to understand. All other questions you may have can be answered by any members of our staff.
